This policy explains what personal information Rafter Fan Co., a trade name of Azul Labs LLC, collects when you visit or buy from rafterfan.com, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and payment information. When you contact support we collect whatever you include in your message. When you subscribe to emails we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you view. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not collect or store your full card number. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles card data directly under its own security standards.
Why we use it
- To process and ship your order, and to contact you about it
- To provide customer support and handle returns
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- To meet legal and tax obligations
- To improve the site and understand how it is used
- To send marketing emails, where you have asked to receive them
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with parties who need it to do their job for us: our ecommerce platform, our payment processor, our shipping and fulfillment partners, our email provider, and our analytics provider. We also share information where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, such as keeping your cart contents, and cookies that help us measure traffic and advertising performance. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the site may not work correctly without the necessary ones.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, generally seven years. We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your issue and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their state law. To exercise any of them, email support@rafterfan.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law.
Marketing emails
If you receive marketing emails from us, every one contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails but not transactional emails about an order you have placed.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
Our site is operated from the United States and information is processed there. If you are visiting from outside the United States, you are transferring your information to the United States by using the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page with its date.
