Bozeman Solid Wood Ceiling Fan — Walnut & Brushed Silver
A ceiling fan hangs in the middle of the room and runs every day. It is worth choosing one you actually want to look at.
The Bozeman runs on a DC motor, and it is quiet enough to sleep under. At its lowest speed it sits around 35 decibels, quieter than a refrigerator in the next room. There is no transformer hum, because a DC motor does not have one.
It earns its keep all year. The motor reverses from the remote. One direction drives air straight down, so the draft on your skin reads several degrees cooler than the thermostat says and you can set it higher. The other sends air up to the ceiling, which brings the warm air that collects up there back down the walls, where you can actually feel it. That is the difference between a fan you use for three months and a fixture you use for twelve.
The blades are cut from timber. Each one is shaped from a single piece of solid wood, so the grain runs through the whole section rather than sitting on the surface. Same tree, same batch, and still no two alike.
No light kit, and that is the point. This one is for rooms that already have the lighting they need. Without a light housing underneath, the fan sits closer to the ceiling and the silhouette stays clean.
Two ways to control it. The remote is included in the box. If you would rather not keep track of one, the fan is also compatible with a hardwired wall control, so you can run it from the switch that is already on your wall.

Installation
This is an electrical fixture. It must be mounted to a ceiling electrical box rated to carry a fan, which is not the same as a standard lighting box. If you are replacing a light fixture rather than an existing fan, have an electrician confirm the box is fan-rated before you start.
With a fan-rated box already in place, most people fit this in under an hour. The blades attach after the motor is mounted, which keeps the weight manageable while you are on the ladder. Turn the power off at the breaker before you begin.
Shipping and returns
Processed in 1 to 2 business days, delivered in 15 to 25 business days. Your fan is built and shipped individually by our manufacturing partner rather than held in bulk inventory, which is why it takes longer than a warehouse would.
The price includes shipping and all import duties. Nothing further is payable on delivery. You have 30 days to return it from the day it arrives, with no restocking fee.
